WIAW Bagel and Bun Trick Edition
Well you guys, I promise you it’s me typing up this post but I feel far from with it…shocker. Let’s just say I have a new found respect for all those moms out there. Chasing around a 16 month old all day is not an easy task. Amen for two hour naps. To be quite honest, I am a little shocked that I even remembered to snap pictures of my eats. Good thing I did because who wants to read a photoless WIAW. Anyways, enough rambling, I am going to hop right into it since I can’t quite think straight and need to save some brain juice for school.
A piping hot bowl of oats topped with blueberries, a super sweet plum, and a glob of almond butter and vanilla greek yogurt. Just enough fuel to power me thru the morning without making me feel like I had concrete for breakfast.
Around 9:30 my stomach was speaking to me so down went a super sweet peach from the farmers market. Clearly I inhaled it prior to snapping a pic.
It was one of those mornings that I didn’t really have time to think about what I wanted so I justed grabbed a baggyfull of sweet kale mix(from Costco), 2 eggs(from my Daddio), a yellow mater from the garden and a piece of cheese.
Folks, it’s what we call an omelet. I also had a piece of pita bread with a smear of muffaletta olive spread as a egg scooper. Hit. The. Spot.
After work, I stopped at Starbucks for a coffee(see above rant) and smashed a naner with AB before walking into a C1 yoga class.
It’s so convenient and I can pick it up before I exercise since they close at 5. I picked the Tasty Turkey this time but of course I ended up tweeking it a bit. I went with the shmear on the side. Once it was time to eat it I pinched out the the inside middle part out(PS – That is one of my fave bun and bagel tips so that you can still have the bagel but minimize the carbs). The hollow middle makes for the perfect place for the shmear aka cream cheese. Just saying.
I got out of school at 9:30 and when I got home had a nice glass of wine and a few handfuls of strawberries.
That right there my friends is a wrap. Hope you enjoyed my eats.
What was your favorite eat of the day? Mine was the muffaletta olive spread from the market. So fresh and packed with a ton of spicy flavor!
I just want to take a second to be silent and remember those who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks of 9/11. You courageous people will never be forgetten.
