Friends! I’ve missed you. It felt so good to disconnect from the computer for a few days so clearly I have a lot to catch you up on.
After work on Friday, I hopped in my car and went directly home. Well I guess I didn’t go straight there, I stopped at the Row House for a quick martini and catch up with sissy poo before heading home for date night with dad

Ma still wasn’t home from Florida so Dad and I went out for fish. Broiled cod, baked potato, and salad bar for the win.
With full bellies, Dad and I headed home to get a started on a pantry makeover followed by a little beer drinking with my best girl

Saturday morning consisted of finishing the pantry makeover, coffee clutching and snugs with Harry Boy
Isn’t he the cutest? Before we know it, it was time to get out of our jammies and cleaned up to head my cousin’s bridal shower

How lovely are the cupcakes? It was so nice to see my family and of course no trip home is complete without a little shopping with Ma

Finally found a cross bracelet. I have honestly been looking for one since Key West. As much as little retail therapy cheered me up, I couldn’t help but feeling instantly home sick upon getting on the highway and heading back to the burbs. At least you can always count on pancakes to put some pep in your step especially when they are made with eggs from Happy Hen aka my dads new organic free range egg business
