Ever have one of those days where you look at the clock and think “What day is it?”. Today was by far one of the best days this summer and all it involved was the farmers market, the whammy pool, and this little bundle of joy
Ahha Sir Clip Nose. We really need a life. Ya know this morning when I said I was going to yoga? Well I kaboshed it in favor of hitting the Downers Grove farmers market.
Mike and I both got a kick out of checking out all the different vendors and were floored to see Elena’s Cucina set up since they no longer come to the Lisle market. I feel confident saying its the best focaccia bread in the world. Yes, I said it. What wants to challenge me? I dare ya! We also picked up a white eggplant and a baby sized bag of blueberries
By the time I pulled Mike away from the hot sauce table, we were both starving. Fontano’s it is!
I absolutely love the feel of this old school deli and their peanut butter cookies are no joke. We spent the rest of the chilling by the pool with some of my favorite people and calling it a low key night on the couch. Sounds good to me!
