Can ya taste the weekend? I can. Are any of you heading to Lollapalooza? If you are, there is free yoga at the Lollashop everyday at 9 am. I’m assuming thats super early if you are partying all day and all night but ya know. Speaking of music, I am luhving We Run The Night by Havana Brown
It pumped me up and got me ready to conquer the day and reeved me up for the weekend especially since cousin Brad is coming into town. Luckily I had a full belly so I was able to completely rock out in my car
(puffed brown rice, cinnamon harvest, pb puffins, naners)
While I sat at the kitchen table leisurely eating my MCB, I found something pretty exciting
You are looking at your very own Food Revolution ambassador. I can not tell you how excited I am to be apart of something I am so passionate about – real food. Hope to share more on that later.
The day came and went and before long it was time to head to Zumba. The new kicks did not disappoint
After class, I caught up with Thomas to chat the future of Zumba followed by a garden harvest
And of course a little inappropriateness
That little guy came in handy when it was time to put together dinner. Tonight’s meal was made with everything from the garden except for the chicken obviously.
This meal is the epitome of summer and reminds me of home. Growing up, there were a lot of garden maters floating around our kitchen table during summer(let’s all remember dad has two massive gardens this year). The chicken was freaking amazing even though I only seasoned it with salt, pepper, kickin’ chicken, and Newman’s Own lite honey mustard dressing. Sometimes the simplest marinades pack the most flava.
Time for bed. xxoo
What foods remind you of home?
