Hola from our couch!!! We made it back just a little past 8pm and we are both exhausted – yesterday took a lot out of us
I swear we are not full fledged alchies but when we saw shots of tequila advertised with “pickle backs”, we had to do it. Surprisingly the pickle juice actually eliminates the tequila after taste. Hey ya know what they say…when in Vieques Rome.
We had some much fun aimlessly wandering and exploring the streets of Isabel Segunda on foot.
We went in and out of just about any store front that would let us in and I scored this adorable turquoise and leather bracelet

After our little exploration, we showered up before heading to Next Course for dinner. Let me tell you that we chowed. We split a mussels appetizer and I maxed an entire fresh caught lobster tail followed by dessert
It was a fork battler
Peanut butter and chocolate chip cookie icecream sandy. We destroyed it and by the time we got back to the resort the only thing we could do was sloth around the fire pit. We called it a semi early night so we would have enough energy to lay by the pool for a few hours before we hopped on our 11:30 flight into the main island. Due to a late leave from Vieques, we missed our connecting flight and were rerouted to New Jersey. All the annoyance of missing the flights fell to the way side we we saw this guy

One of the members from our little breakfast club and to make it even better, we were all in the same row. Too funny!
